Easy brownie sundae cups made from boxed brownie mix, baked into muffin-size cups and topped with ice cream and classic sundae toppings for a fun, crowd-pleasing dessert.

Ingredients

1 box brownie mix

1/4 cup water

1/2 cup vegetable oil

1 large egg

1 pint vanilla ice cream

1/4 cup chocolate syrup

1/4 cup whipped cream

1/4 cup chopped nuts

1/4 cup sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix brownie mix, water, vegetable oil, and egg until smooth.
  3. Spoon batter into greased muffin tin, filling each cup about 3/4 full.
  4. Bake for about 15 minutes.
  5. Remove from oven and allow brownie cups to cool completely.
  6. Once cooled, add a scoop of vanilla ice cream to each brownie cup.
  7. Top with chocolate syrup, whipped cream, chopped nuts, and sprinkles.
  8. Serve immediately.

Notes

Press centers down gently while warm if brownies puff up.

Add ice cream and toppings just before serving.

Use a fudgy brownie mix for richer cups.

Brownie cups can be made a day ahead.
