Acorn Donut Holes are adorable, no-bake fall treats made by dipping glazed donut holes in melted chocolate, coating them with sprinkles, and finishing with a pretzel stick stem. They’re quick, fun to make, and perfect for autumn parties, Thanksgiving, or festive edible crafts with kids.

Ingredients

20 glazed donut holes

¾ cup chocolate chips

1020 pretzel sticks

¾ cup chocolate jimmies sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Break pretzel sticks in half to create small acorn stems. Set aside.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring between each round until smooth.
  3. Pour chocolate sprinkles into a separate small bowl.
  4. Dip the top third of each donut hole into the melted chocolate, letting any excess drip off.
  5. Immediately dip the chocolate-coated portion into the sprinkles to form the acorn “cap.”
  6. Insert a pretzel stick into the top of each donut hole to make the stem.
  7. Place finished donut holes on a parchment-lined tray and let them set for about 5 minutes, or chill briefly in the fridge to firm up.

Notes

Use white chocolate and caramel sprinkles for a lighter variation.

Add crushed nuts or gold sprinkles for a festive touch.

Drizzle finished acorns with caramel or butterscotch for extra indulgence.

Let refrigerated acorn donut holes come to room temperature before serving for the best texture.

Perfect fun recipe for kids to help with—no baking required!
