Ingredients

1 can (11 oz) mandarin oranges, drained

1 can (8 oz) crushed pineapple, drained

1 cup shredded coconut (optional)

1 cup mini marshmallows

1/2 cup maraschino cherries, drained and chopped

1 cup sour cream

1 cup Cool Whip

1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Drain the mandarin oranges and crushed pineapple thoroughly. Chop the maraschino cherries into small pieces and set aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sour cream and Cool Whip. Stir until smooth and well combined.
  3. Fold in the mandarin oranges, crushed pineapple, marshmallows, shredded coconut (if using), and chopped cherries. Gently mix everything together until evenly distributed.
  4. If you’re using nuts, fold in the chopped pecans or walnuts.
  5. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.
