Apple Pie Bites Recipe

These easy air fryer apple pie bites are made with biscuit dough, apple pie filling, and a cinnamon-sugar coating for a warm, sweet, and comforting dessert in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

1 can jumbo biscuits (5 count)

3/4 cup apple pie filling, apples cut into small pieces

4 tablespoons butter, melted

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Place the apple pie filling in a bowl and cut apples into smaller pieces.
  2. Divide each biscuit into two parts.
  3. Roll each piece of dough into a ball, then flatten to about 1/4 inch thick.
  4. Scoop about 1 tablespoon of apple filling into the center of each dough circle.
  5. Pinch the dough closed around the filling to seal tightly.
  6. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray or line with parchment paper. Place bites inside with space between them.
  7. Air fry at 350°F for 8–10 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl while the bites cook.
  9. Melt butter in another bowl.
  10. Once cooked, cool slightly, then dip each bite in melted butter and roll in cinnamon sugar.
  11. Cool on a wire rack before serving.

Notes

Try different pie fillings such as cherry, blueberry, or peach for variety.

Add nutmeg or apple pie spice for extra flavor.

Drizzle with glaze made from powdered sugar and milk for more sweetness.

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days at room temperature or 4 days in the fridge.

Reheat in the air fryer at 325°F for 2–3 minutes.

Can be baked in the oven at 375°F for 12–14 minutes instead of air fried.

Freeze after baking and reheat in the air fryer when ready to serve.
