Apple Pie Bites are quick, bite-sized treats made with crescent roll dough, filled with sweet apples, brown sugar, and spices. These golden, crispy mini pies are perfect for any occasion and can be customized with your favorite toppings!

Ingredients

For the Filling:

1/4 cup packed light brown sugar

1 teaspoon apple pie spice

3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

1/3 cup chopped pecans

1 small Granny Smith apple, cored and sliced into 8 slices

For the Dough:

1 (8 ounce) tube Pillsbury Original crescent rolls

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven:

    • Preheat your oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Prepare the Sugar Mixture:

    • In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and apple pie spice. Set aside.

  3. Prepare the Apples:

    • Melt the butter and toss the apple slices in the butter to coat them evenly.

  4. Assemble the Bites:

    • Arrange the crescent roll triangles on the baking sheet.

    • Evenly distribute the brown sugar mixture onto each triangle and sprinkle with chopped pecans.

    • Place an apple slice on the wide end of each triangle, then wrap the crescent roll dough around the apple.

  5. Bake:

    • Brush the top of each crescent roll with the remaining melted butter and sprinkle lightly with additional apple pie spice.

    • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.

  6. Serve:

    • Let the bites cool for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy with vanilla ice cream or caramel syrup for an extra indulgent treat.

Notes

Variations:

Add Caramel: Drizzle caramel sauce over the bites after baking.

Different Nuts: Swap pecans for walnuts or almonds for a different flavor.
