Ingredients

  • 4 large Honeycrisp apples, cubed
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • ⅓ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 ½ tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 ribs celery, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup seedless red grapes, halved
  • ½ cup chopped pecans
  • ½ cup dried cranberries

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, toss cubed apples with lemon juice to prevent browning.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise and brown sugar until smooth.
  • Add sliced celery, halved grapes, chopped pecans, and dried cranberries to the apples.
  • Pour the mayonnaise mixture over the apple mixture and gently toss to coat.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to enhance flavors.

Notes

  • Nut-Free Option: Substitute sunflower seeds or skip nuts altogether.
  • Dressing Variation: Swap mayonnaise for Greek yogurt for a lighter version.
  • Fruit Swaps: Use raisins, dried cherries, or pomegranate seeds for variety.
  • Protein Boost: Add grilled chicken or turkey to turn it into a main dish.
