Ingredients

1 banana

1/2 cup cherries, pitted

1/2 cup Greek yogurt

1/2 cup almond milk

1 tablespoon honey

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup ice

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ingredients: Peel the banana and place it in the blender. Pit the cherries if they’re not already pitted and add them to the blender.
  2. Add the Yogurt and Milk: Spoon the Greek yogurt into the blender, then pour in the almond milk.
  3. Add Sweetness and Flavor: Drizzle the honey and add the vanilla extract to the blender for added sweetness and flavor.
  4. Add Ice: Measure out the ice and add it to the blender.
  5. Blend: Place the lid securely on the blender and blend everything on high speed until smooth and creamy.
  6. Adjust Consistency: If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more almond milk and blend again until you reach your desired consistency.
  7. Serve: Once fully blended, pour the smoothie into a glass and serve immediately. Enjoy your refreshing Banana Cherry Smoothie!

Notes

For a thicker smoothie, use frozen bananas and cherries instead of fresh fruit.

If you prefer a dairy-free version, swap the Greek yogurt for coconut yogurt.

Feel free to add a handful of spinach or kale to make it a green smoothie.

For extra sweetness, increase the honey or add maple syrup.
