Banana Split Pie is a refreshing, no-bake dessert that brings the classic banana split into pie form. With layers of banana pudding, fresh bananas, pineapple, walnuts, and a drizzle of chocolate sauce, it’s a tropical treat for any occasion.

Ingredients

1 premade graham cracker pie crust

2 cups cold milk (whole milk is best)

2 packages (3.4 ounces each) instant banana pudding mix

1 carton (8 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed, divided

2 bananas, sliced

1 can (8 ounces) crushed pineapple, drained

¼ cup walnut pieces

Chocolate sauce

Maraschino cherries for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat the cold milk and instant banana pudding mix on low speed for 2 minutes.
  2. Fold in 1 cup of the thawed whipped topping into the pudding mixture until smooth.
  3. Pour the pudding mixture into the premade graham cracker pie crust and smooth the top. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to chill.
  4. Once chilled, layer the sliced bananas and drained pineapple on top of the pudding mixture, following the order given.
  5. Spread the remaining whipped topping over the fruit layers to create a smooth, creamy top layer.
  6. Sprinkle the pie with walnut pieces, drizzle with chocolate sauce, and top with maraschino cherries.
  7. Chill the pie for 1-3 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.

Notes

For a nut-free version, substitute walnuts with crushed graham crackers or coconut flakes.

Homemade whipped cream can be used instead of frozen whipped topping for a richer taste.

For a colorful twist, add other fruits like strawberries or blueberries.

Switch the graham cracker crust for a chocolate crust to enhance the chocolate flavor.
