This easy-to-make treat is perfect for peanut butter and chocolate lovers, offering a delicious combination that’s simple to prepare and doesn’t require dipping.

Ingredients

  • 1 box fudge brownie mix (19.5 ounces or family size)
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 4 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven: Heat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Make the Cookie Dough: In a medium bowl, beat the brownie mix, melted butter, softened cream cheese, and egg. The dough will be sticky.
  • Form the Cookies: Scoop dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet to form about 24 cookies. Smooth the edges to make them round.
  • Prepare the Peanut Butter Filling: In a separate bowl, mix the powdered sugar and peanut butter until fully combined.
  • Assemble: Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the peanut butter mixture into the center of each cookie dough ball.
  • Bake: Bake for 12 minutes, or until the edges are set.
  • Add the Chocolate: Let the cookies cool slightly, then melt the chocolate chips and drizzle over the cookies for a final touch

Notes

  • Nutty Version: Add chopped peanuts to the peanut butter filling for extra crunch.
  • White Chocolate: Substitute white chocolate chips for a different flavor.
  • Crispy Cookies: Bake the cookies slightly longer for a crispier texture.
