Bite-sized caramel apple pretzel treats made with softened caramel squares, crisp apple cubes, crunchy pretzels, melted chocolate, and peanuts. A quick, fun twist on classic caramel apples.

Ingredients

50 pretzel snaps

50 caramel squares, unwrapped

3 Granny Smith apples, cored and cut into 1-inch cubes

1/4 cup finely chopped peanuts

1/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips or dark chocolate melting wafers

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 275°F (135°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Arrange pretzel snaps in a single layer with space between each. Place one caramel square on each pretzel.
  3. Bake for 10–15 minutes, just until the caramel softens but doesn’t melt fully.
  4. Press an apple cube onto each softened caramel.
  5. Drizzle melted chocolate over the tops and sprinkle with chopped peanuts.
  6. Let set for about 20 minutes before serving.

Notes

Swap peanuts for crushed pecans or toffee bits.

Use milk chocolate for a sweeter version.

Dip pretzels in melted chocolate before adding the apple for a double-layer effect.

Sprinkle cinnamon on apples for extra flavor.

Best served the same day due to apple moisture.
