Cheeseburger Twists are crispy eggroll wrappers filled with juicy seasoned ground beef and melted cheddar cheese, delivering all the savory goodness of a cheeseburger in a crunchy handheld snack.

Ingredients

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 small onion, diced

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 pound ground beef

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon ketchup

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 package egg roll wrappers

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a medium skillet over medium-high heat. Add diced onions and minced garlic and sauté for 2-3 minutes until onions are translucent and fragrant.
  2. Add ground beef to the skillet and cook, crumbling it as it browns, until no longer pink (about 5-7 minutes).
  3. Stir in ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly to combine all flavors.
  4. Remove beef mixture from heat and transfer to a bowl. Allow it to cool slightly, then fold in the shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. Lay an egg roll wrapper flat on a clean surface and moisten the edges with water. Place a spoonful of the beef and cheese filling in the center.
  6. Fold the bottom corner of the wrapper over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll tightly. Seal the top edge with a bit of water.
  7. In a clean skillet, add enough oil to cover the bottom and heat over medium-high heat. Carefully fry the eggrolls for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Remove eggrolls and place on a napkin-lined plate to drain excess oil. Serve warm and enjoy.

Notes

Cheese Swap: Use pepper jack, mozzarella, or a cheese blend for different flavors.

Add Veggies: Mix in finely diced bell peppers or pickles for added crunch and flavor.

Spicy Kick: Add hot sauce or cayenne pepper to the beef mixture for heat.

Baked Version: Bake at 400°F for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway for a healthier option.

Sauce Pairing: Serve with ketchup, mustard, spicy mayo, ranch, or BBQ sauce.

Store leftovers in an airtight container refrigerated up to 3 days.

Reheat in skillet or oven to keep wrappers crispy; microwaving is possible but less crispy.

Freeze unbaked on a tray until firm, then transfer to freezer bag; cook from frozen adding time.
