These Chewy Peanut Butter Brownies are a perfect dessert for peanut butter lovers. Combining rich peanut butter and soft, moist brownies, they’re simple to make and perfectly chewy.

Ingredients

1/2 cup peanut butter (crunchy or smooth)

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs

1/3 cup butter, melted

2/3 cup white sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp baking powder

1 pinch salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a 9″x9″ metal or glass baking pan with parchment paper to make it easier to lift the brownies out once they are cooled.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together the peanut butter, melted butter, white sugar, and brown sugar.
  4. Slowly add the eggs, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine the flour and baking powder. Slowly add this dry mixture to the peanut butter mixture, stirring gently to combine. Be careful not to overmix.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared 9″x9″ pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Let the brownies cool completely before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

Add chocolate chips or swirl Nutella for extra indulgence.

For more crunch, add chopped peanuts or other nuts to the batter.

For a gluten-free version, substitute the flour with a gluten-free flour blend.
