Chocolate covered strawberries are a simple, elegant no-bake dessert made with fresh juicy strawberries dipped in smooth melted chocolate. They’re festive, customizable, and perfect for sharing, gifting, or enjoying at home.

Ingredients

1 lb fresh strawberries

10 oz chocolate (bittersweet, semi-sweet, milk, or white)

3 oz white chocolate (optional)

Pink gel icing color (optional)

Sprinkles (optional)

Oreo crumbs (optional)

Additional toppings of choice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash the strawberries and dry them completely, removing all moisture.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and prepare any toppings.
  3. Place the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 10–20 second intervals, stirring between each round until smooth.
  4. Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip into the melted chocolate, gently shaking off excess.
  5. Dip into toppings if desired and place on parchment paper.
  6. If using white chocolate, melt it the same way, tint if desired, and drizzle over the strawberries.
  7. Allow the chocolate to fully set before serving.

Notes

Strawberries must be completely dry for the chocolate to adhere properly.

Avoid overheating chocolate to keep it smooth and glossy.

Gel food coloring should only be used with white chocolate.

Best enjoyed noticeable fresh.
