A rich yet light chocolate mousse made with just four simple ingredients, delivering a smooth, creamy texture and deep chocolate flavor with minimal effort.

Ingredients

200 g chocolate (dark, milk, or white)

2 large eggs

1/4 cup brown sugar

1 cup cream, whipped

Instructions

  1. Finely grate about 2 tablespoons of the chocolate and set aside for garnish.
  2. Break the remaining chocolate into a microwave-safe bowl and melt in short bursts, stirring until smooth. Allow to cool slightly.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and brown sugar together for about 2 minutes until light and fluffy.
  4. Gently fold the warm melted chocolate into the egg mixture until combined.
  5. Carefully fold in the whipped cream until smooth and airy.
  6. Spoon the mousse into 4 serving glasses or one large bowl.
  7. Sprinkle with the reserved grated chocolate.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours until fully set before serving.

Notes

Chocolate should be warm, not hot, to avoid scrambling the eggs.

Use good-quality chocolate for best flavor.

Delicious topped with berries or extra whipped cream.
