Chocolate Orange Posset is a luxuriously creamy and tangy no-bake dessert combining rich semi-sweet chocolate with bright orange flavors for a smooth, velvety treat that’s simple to make and impressive to serve.

Ingredients

2 cups heavy cream

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate, chopped

½ cup granulated sugar

½ cup freshly squeezed orange juice

Zest of 1 orange

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 teaspoons gelatin powder (optional for thicker consistency)

Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. If using gelatin, sprinkle gelatin powder into 2 tablespoons cold water and let bloom for 5 minutes.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine heavy cream and sugar. Heat over medium, stirring until simmering.
  3. Remove from heat and add chopped chocolate; stir until melted and smooth.
  4. Stir in orange juice, zest, vanilla extract, and salt. Add bloomed gelatin if using, stirring until dissolved.
  5. Strain mixture through a fine-mesh sieve for smooth texture.
  6. Pour into individual cups or ramekins.
  7. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours until set.
