Cinnamon Sugar Baked Peaches with Cream is a simple yet indulgent summer dessert, featuring warm, juicy peaches coated in a cinnamon-brown sugar glaze, and topped with Greek yogurt, whipped cream, or vanilla ice cream.

Ingredients

3 ripe peaches, halved and pitted

2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

3 tablespoons brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Pinch of salt

Greek yogurt, whipped cream, or vanilla ice cream (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper to prevent the peaches from sticking.
  2. Prepare the Glaze: In a small bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla extract (if using), and a pinch of salt. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Prepare the Peaches: Place the peach halves cut-side up on the prepared baking tray. Spoon the cinnamon-sugar glaze into the center of each peach half and drizzle over the top.
  4. Bake the Peaches: Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the peaches are soft and the glaze is caramelized. The peaches should be tender and juicy when done.
  5. Serve: Serve warm, topped with Greek yogurt, whipped cream, or vanilla ice cream. Drizzle with honey or sprinkle with crushed nuts if desired.

Notes

For added texture, top with crushed almonds, walnuts, or pecans.

Substitute nectarines if peaches aren’t available for a similar flavor and texture.

Add a pinch of nutmeg or ginger to the glaze for an extra spicy kick.
