This Condensed Milk Lemonade is a creamy and refreshing twist on the classic lemonade. The sweetened condensed milk adds a velvety texture while balancing the tartness of the lemon, creating a perfect drink for hot days or special occasions.

Ingredients

1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 46 lemons)

1 cup sweetened condensed milk

4 cups cold water

1/2 cup fresh mint leaves, plus extra for garnish

Ice cubes

Lemon slices, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Squeeze the lemons to extract the juice. Strain the juice through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds and pulp for a smoother texture.
  2. In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice and sweetened condensed milk. Whisk until fully blended and smooth.
  3. Gradually add the cold water to the pitcher, mixing well to combine everything evenly.
  4. Add the fresh mint leaves and gently press them with a muddler or the back of a spoon to release their oils and flavor.
  5. Taste the lemonade and adjust sweetness by adding more condensed milk if desired. Mix thoroughly.
  6. Chill the lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  7. To serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled lemonade over the ice. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and lemon slices.

Notes

For a fruity variation, add fresh berries like strawberries, raspberries, or blueberries.

Infuse your lemonade with a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg for a spiced twist.
