Savor savory beef patties, fluffy eggs, and melted cheese on soft slider buns, perfect for a hearty breakfast or brunch with a western twist.

Ingredients

6 large eggs

8 ounces seasoned ground beef

6 slices cooked chicken sausage or chicken deli slices

1 cup (113 g) sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

1 package (12 count) King’s Hawaiian Rolls

1 recipe cowboy butter, melted (see notes)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a 7×11-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Slice Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally. Place bottom halves in the baking dish evenly.
  3. Drizzle 2 tablespoons melted cowboy butter over the bottom rolls.
  4. Cook and scramble eggs until just creamy; spread evenly over rolls.
  5. Cook seasoned ground beef until browned; crumble and layer over eggs.
  6. Layer cooked chicken sausage slices over beef.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the layers.
  8. Place top halves of rolls over fillings.
  9. Brush tops with 2 more tablespoons melted cowboy butter.
  10. Cover dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  11. Remove foil and bake 3–5 minutes until tops are golden brown.
  12. Remove from oven, slice, and brush with extra cowboy butter if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

Substitute ground beef with ground chicken or turkey for a leaner option.

Use different cheeses like pepper jack or mozzarella.

Add sautéed onions or bell peppers for extra veggies.

Serve with spicy ketchup or hot sauce.

Swap Hawaiian rolls for regular slider buns or biscuit dough.
