These Creamsicle Orange Cookies are a delicious blend of tangy orange zest and creamy white chocolate, inspired by the classic orange popsicle. With just six simple ingredients, these cookies are soft, chewy, and easy to make. Perfect for holidays, parties, or an afternoon treat, they’re a bright, flavorful dessert everyone will love!

Ingredients

  • 1 box white cake mix
  • 1 (3-ounce) box orange jello
  • 2 tablespoons orange zest
  • ½ cup salted butter (room temperature)
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the white cake mix, orange jello powder, and orange zest.
  • Add the butter and eggs, mixing until well combined. Scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl as needed.
  • Fold in the white chocolate chips.
  • Scoop 1 ½ tablespoons of dough using a cookie scoop and roll into balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheets, spaced about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 10-13 minutes, or until the edges are set. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 10 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • If using unsalted butter, add a pinch of salt to the dry ingredients.
  • For a fun twist, swap out white chocolate chips for semi-sweet, milk, or dark chocolate chips.
  • If you don’t have orange zest, you can skip it, but the cookies will lose some of their bright citrus flavor.
  • Chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking to prevent spreading.
  • For a softer cookie, slightly underbake the cookies, leaving them a little wet in the center.
