1 pound ground sausage (any preferred variety)

4 large russet potatoes, peeled and diced

½ cup heavy cream

¼ cup milk

1 tablespoon butter

1 medium onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Place diced potatoes in a large pot and cover them with water. Add a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil and cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  2. While the potatoes are cooking, heat a skillet over medium heat and add the ground sausage. Cook until browned, breaking up the sausage into small pieces, stirring frequently.
