Easy Crab Rangoon Dip is a creamy, cheesy, and savory appetizer that transforms the flavors of Crab Rangoon into a shareable dip. With a blend of cream cheese, mozzarella, parmesan, crab meat, and seasonings, this dip is perfect for parties, gatherings, or a cozy snack. Served hot and bubbly, it’s ideal for dipping with crackers, chips, or fresh veggies, and sure to impress your guests.

Ingredients

8 oz cream cheese, room temperature

½ cup mayonnaise

¼ cup sour cream

2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tbsp lime juice

½ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese, divided

1 cup freshly shredded mozzarella cheese, divided

2 (6 oz) cans white crab meat, drained

2 tbsp fresh chives

½ tsp garlic powder

¼ tsp red pepper flakes

Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  • In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, lime juice, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Whisk until smooth.

  • Add ¾ cup of mozzarella, ¼ cup of parmesan, crab meat, garlic powder, and chives. Mix gently with a spatula until well combined.

  • Transfer the mixture into a small baking dish (e.g., a pie dish) and top with the remaining mozzarella and parmesan.

  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the cheeses are melted and slightly browned.

  • Serve hot, garnished with fresh chives on top.

Notes

For a spicy version, add hot sauce, chopped jalapeños, or extra red pepper flakes to the dip.

To make this dish gluten-free, serve with gluten-free crackers or veggies like carrots and celery.

If you’re looking for a lighter version, swap the cream cheese with Neufchatel cheese.

If preparing ahead, store the unbaked dip in the fridge overnight and bake it when ready.
