Soft, chewy strawberry-flavored cookies made with cake mix, rolled in sugar, and topped with a classic Hershey’s Kiss for a fun and festive treat perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

1 box strawberry cake mix

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

1/4 cup vegetable oil

2 large eggs

1 tablespoon milk

Granulated sugar, for rolling

24 Hershey’s Kisses, unwrapped

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together vegetable oil and eggs until well combined.
  2. Gradually add the strawberry cake mix and flour, stirring until a dough forms.
  3. Mix in the milk until evenly incorporated.
  4. Scoop dough into small balls using a cookie scoop or two spoons.
  5. Roll each dough ball in granulated sugar.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  7. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  8. Arrange chilled dough balls on prepared baking sheets, leaving space between them.
  9. Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until set but still soft in the center.
  10. Immediately press a Hershey’s Kiss into the center of each warm cookie.
  11. Allow cookies to cool completely before serving or storing.

Notes

Use chocolate cake mix for a chocolate-cherry flavor combination.

Experiment with different Hershey’s Kiss flavors like white chocolate or cookies & cream.

Roll cookies in colored sanding sugar for themed events.

Add 1/2 cup white chocolate chips for extra sweetness.
