Easy Sweet Condensed Milk Bread is a soft, fluffy, and slightly sweet homemade bread perfect for breakfast, snacks, or sandwiches. Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 packet active dry yeast (2 1/4 teaspoons)
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg (optional, for brushing)

Instructions

  • Activate Yeast: In a small bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  • Prepare Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together sweetened condensed milk, milk, and softened butter. Stir in the yeast mixture.
  • Mix Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, mix flour and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture, stirring to form a dough.
  • Knead Dough: Knead for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  • First Rise: Cover with a towel and let rise for 1 to 1 1/2 hours until doubled in size.
  • Shape & Second Rise: Punch down dough, shape into a loaf, and place in a greased loaf pan. Let rise for 30 minutes.
  • Egg Wash (Optional): Brush the top with a beaten egg for a golden crust.
  • Bake: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  • Cool & Serve: Let cool before slicing. Enjoy with butter, jam, or any topping of choice!
