Easy Tiramisu Truffles offer a bite-sized version of the classic Italian dessert. Made with mascarpone, cream cheese, espresso-soaked ladyfingers, and dusted with cocoa powder, these no-bake truffles deliver the rich flavors of tiramisu in a convenient and indulgent form.

Ingredients

1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

24 ladyfinger cookies (Savoiardi)

1/4 cup brewed espresso or strong coffee, cooled

2 tablespoons coffee liqueur (optional)

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup mascarpone cheese

Unsweetened cocoa powder, for dusting

Dark chocolate shavings or chips (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ladyfingers:
    • Place the ladyfinger cookies in a food processor and pulse until they turn into fine crumbs.
  2. Mix the Creamy Filling:
    • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mascarpone, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and coffee liqueur (if using). Beat until smooth and creamy.
  3. Combine Ingredients:
    • Add the crushed ladyfinger crumbs and cooled espresso to the creamy mixture. Stir until everything is well incorporated, forming a soft dough-like consistency.
  4. Chill the Mixture:
    • Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to help it firm up, making it easier to roll into truffles.
  5. Shape the Truffles:
    • Once chilled, scoop out tablespoon-sized portions of the mixture and roll them into balls using your hands. Place the truffles on a parchment-lined tray.
  6. Chill Again:
    • Return the tray of truffles to the refrigerator for another 20 minutes to set and firm up.
  7. Dust and Garnish:
    • Before serving, dust the truffles generously with unsweetened cocoa powder for that signature tiramisu finish.
    • Optionally, garnish with dark chocolate shavings or chips for extra texture and richness.
