Figs with Pistachio Butter is a quick and elegant dish pairing sweet ripe figs with creamy pistachio butter, honey drizzle, and crunchy pistachios. Perfect as an appetizer, light dessert, or gourmet snack.

Ingredients

8 fresh figs

1/2 cup pistachio butter

2 tbsp honey

1/4 tsp sea salt

2 tbsp chopped roasted pistachios (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Rinse figs and pat them dry.
  2. Make a small cross cut at the top of each fig, without cutting all the way through.
  3. Fill each fig with a dollop of pistachio butter.
  4. Drizzle honey over the figs.
  5. Sprinkle with sea salt and garnish with chopped roasted pistachios.

Notes

Add orange zest or cinnamon to the honey for extra flavor.

Top with Greek yogurt or mascarpone for a richer variation.

Swap honey for balsamic glaze and add goat cheese for a savory twist.

Best served fresh, but can be stored in the fridge for 1 day.

Any ripe fig variety works—Black Mission and Turkish are favorites.
