These Fluffy Air Fryer Donut Bites are made with just two main ingredients and come out golden, fluffy, and delicious. Rolled in cinnamon sugar or topped with chocolate, they’re a quick and fun treat that’s healthier than traditional fried donuts.

Ingredients

For the Donut Bites:

1 cup self-raising flour (or all-purpose flour with baking powder and salt)

1 cup sweetened Greek yogurt (plain yogurt works too)

For the Coating:

1 cup granulated sugar

1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Optional Topping:

Melted chocolate, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix self-raising flour with Greek yogurt until a soft dough forms. Knead gently on a floured surface until smooth.
  2. Divide the dough into two portions, roll into logs, and cut into small pieces (about 8–12g each). Roll each piece into a ball.
  3. Preheat air fryer to 350°F (180°C) for 5 minutes and lightly oil the basket with cooking spray.
  4. (Optional) Toss dough balls in melted butter for extra flavor.
  5. Air fry donut bites for about 5 minutes, or until puffed and golden.
  6. While still warm, coat them in melted butter, then roll in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  7. Serve immediately, with an optional drizzle of melted chocolate.

Notes

Fill with Nutella, jam, or caramel before air frying for a surprise inside.

Add pumpkin pie spice to the sugar coating for a fall twist.

Glaze with powdered sugar and milk instead of cinnamon sugar for variety.

For a lighter version, skip the butter and lightly dust with cinnamon sugar.

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days and reheat in the air fryer for 2–3 minutes.
