A fun and colorful twist on the classic Rice Krispies treat, made with fruit-flavored marshmallows and cereal. These Fruity Krispy Treats are quick to make, easy to enjoy, and perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

¼ cup unsalted butter

1 (10.5 ounce) package fruit-flavored mini marshmallows

6 cups fruit-flavored breakfast cereal (such as Post Fruity Pebbles)

Instructions

  1. Coat an 8×10-inch pan with cooking spray to prevent the treats from sticking.
  2. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
  3. Stir in the fruit-flavored mini marshmallows, continuing to stir until completely melted and blended with the butter.
  4. Remove the saucepan from the heat, then gently fold in the fruit-flavored cereal. Stir until the cereal is evenly coated with the marshmallow mixture.
  5. Transfer the mixture into the prepared pan, pressing it down evenly to spread it out.
  6. Refrigerate the mixture for about 1 hour, or until it has set and firmed up.
  7. Once set, cut the mixture into bars or squares and serve.

Notes

Store these treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.

You can freeze these treats for up to 2 months. Wrap them tightly in plastic wrap before placing them in a freezer bag.

Refrigeration is necessary to help the marshmallow mixture set properly, ensuring they firm up for easy cutting.
