Grilled Chicken Tenders are the ultimate quick, healthy, and flavorful meal option — juicy on the inside, beautifully charred on the outside. Ready in under 30 minutes, these tenders are perfect for busy weeknights, meal prep, summer barbecues, and versatile enough to serve hot, cold, or tucked into salads and wraps.

Ingredients

1 pound chicken tenders

3 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons lemon juice

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon dried oregano

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

Optional: fresh herbs for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Stir to create the marinade.

  2. Add chicken tenders to the marinade, coating them evenly. Refrigerate and marinate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours.

  3. Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

  4. Grill chicken tenders for 6–8 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

  5. Remove from grill and let rest for 5 minutes.

  6. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve with dipping sauces or side dishes.

Notes

Add cayenne or hot sauce to the marinade for spicy chicken tenders.

Swap oregano for fresh rosemary, thyme, or basil for a herbier flavor.

Add lemon or lime zest for a bright, citrusy kick.

Try an Asian-inspired version by incorporating soy sauce and sesame oil into the marinade.

These are great for salads, wraps, and meal prep!
