A creamy, thick, and chocolatey frozen dessert made with wholesome ingredients like frozen bananas, cocoa, and peanut butter. This Healthy Chocolate Brownie Blizzard tastes indulgent like ice cream but is vegan, dairy-free, and naturally sweetened — the ultimate guilt-free treat!

Ingredients

3 ripe bananas, peeled and frozen (360g)

3 tbsp peanut butter or allergy-friendly substitute (45g)

1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder (20g)

1/8 tsp salt

1 tbsp chocolate protein powder (optional)

1 batch brownie chunks or store-bought brownie pieces (optional)

Instructions

  1. Ensure bananas are ripe before freezing for best sweetness.
  2. In a blender or food processor, combine frozen bananas, peanut butter, cocoa powder, salt, and protein powder if using.
  3. Blend until smooth, thick, and creamy, scraping down sides as needed.
  4. Stir in brownie chunks or other mix-ins if desired.
  5. Serve immediately for soft-serve texture, or freeze for 30 minutes for a firmer consistency.

Notes

Use almond, cashew, or sunflower seed butter for variations.

Add a teaspoon of instant espresso for a mocha version.

Blend with a splash of non-dairy milk or coconut cream for extra richness.

Replace bananas with frozen cauliflower or coconut cream for a banana-free option.

Store in the freezer for up to 1 week and thaw 10–15 minutes before serving.
