Hershey Kiss Cookies are soft, buttery sugar cookies rolled in sugar and topped with a classic chocolate kiss, delivering a nostalgic, easy-to-make treat perfect for sharing.

Ingredients

1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 cup Hershey’s Kisses, unwrapped (milk chocolate)

1/4 cup granulated sugar (for rolling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream the butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until combined.
  6. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough, roll into balls, and coat in sugar.
  7. Place dough balls on baking sheets about 2 inches apart and gently flatten.
  8. Press one Hershey’s Kiss into the center of each cookie.
  9. Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
  10. Cool briefly on the baking sheet, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Use colored sugar for festive occasions.

Try different flavored Hershey’s Kisses for variety.

Avoid overbaking to keep cookies soft.

Chill dough briefly if it feels too soft.
