Homemade Peach Ice Cream is a refreshing and creamy dessert made from fresh peaches, rich dairy, and vanilla. Perfect for summer, this smooth churned ice cream highlights natural peach flavor with simple ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups fresh peaches, peeled and chopped (or frozen, thawed)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional, to enhance peach flavor)

Instructions

  1. Whisk heavy cream, milk, sugar, and vanilla extract in a medium bowl until sugar dissolves.
  2. Puree peaches in a blender until smooth; reserve chunks if desired. Stir in lemon juice if using.
  3. Combine peach puree with cream mixture and mix well.
  4. Chill mixture in refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  5. Pour chilled mixture into ice cream maker and churn 20–25 minutes per manufacturer instructions.
  6. Transfer churned ice cream to airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours until firm.
  7. Scoop and serve.
