Honey Roasted Peach Frozen Yogurt is a creamy, naturally sweet dessert made with roasted peaches, Greek yogurt, and honey. The roasting process enhances the peach flavor, giving the yogurt a rich, caramelized sweetness. This refreshing frozen treat is perfect for summer or any time you’re craving a light yet indulgent dessert.

Ingredients

4 ripe peaches, halved and pitted

¼ cup honey (plus more for drizzling)

2 cups plain Greek yogurt (full-fat for creaminess)

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tbsp lemon juice

Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 400°F (200°C) for roasting the peaches.
  2. Prepare Peaches: Halve and pit the ripe peaches, placing them cut-side up on a baking sheet.
  3. Drizzle with Honey: Drizzle honey generously over the peach halves.
  4. Roast: Place the baking sheet in the oven and roast for about 20-25 minutes, until the peaches are soft and slightly caramelized.
  5. Cool Down: Once roasted, allow the peaches to cool for a few minutes.
  6. Blend Ingredients: In a blender or food processor, combine the roasted peaches, honey, yogurt, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt. Blend until smooth.
  7. Chill Mixture: Transfer the mixture to a bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to help it chill.
  8. Freeze: Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions. If you don’t have an ice cream maker, place the mixture in a shallow container and stir every 30 minutes until it reaches a creamy consistency.
  9. Final Freeze: Once churned, transfer the frozen yogurt back into a container and freeze for an additional hour to firm up.
  10. Serve: Scoop into bowls, drizzle with extra honey, and enjoy this delicious frozen yogurt!

Notes

If you prefer a vegan version, swap the honey for maple syrup and use dairy-free yogurt.

Add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg to the yogurt mixture for extra flavor.

For crunch, stir in chopped nuts like almonds, walnuts, or pistachios just before serving.

If you don’t have an ice cream maker, stir the mixture every 30 minutes while freezing to avoid ice crystals.
