Monster Eye Donuts are a spooky and fun 5-ingredient Halloween treat. Made with brownie mix, chocolate, and candy eyes, these fudgy donuts are quick to bake, easy to decorate, and perfect for parties or festive snacks.

Ingredients

250 g brownie mix

1 large egg

34 tablespoons milk (as needed)

1 cup dark chocolate, melted (chunks or chips)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Mix brownie mix, milk, and egg in a medium bowl until dough forms.
  3. Shape small portions of dough into logs, then press ends together into rings, or use a donut mold for uniform shapes.
  4. Place donuts on prepared baking dish and bake 10–15 minutes. Let cool completely.
  5. Melt dark chocolate with 2 tablespoons coconut oil in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  6. Dip one side of each donut into the melted chocolate and place on a wire rack or tray.
  7. Before chocolate sets, press candy eyes on top for the monster effect.

Notes

Swap dark chocolate for white chocolate with food coloring for colorful monster donuts.

Top with crushed cookies or candy for extra crunch.

Use different-sized candy eyes for playful variety.

Add chocolate chips to the batter for richer donuts.
