Ingredients

18 Double-Stuffed Oreos

Eyeball candies (or any small candy eyes)

Licorice ropes

Black icing

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Workspace: Line your workspace with parchment paper to keep things clean and make assembly easier.
  2. Prepare the Licorice Legs: Cut the licorice ropes into 1-inch pieces and set them aside.
  3. Twist the Oreos: Gently twist apart each Oreo cookie, keeping the filling on one side.
  4. Assemble the Legs: Arrange four pieces of licorice on each side of the filling to create the spider’s legs. Press them lightly into the filling.
  5. Reassemble the Oreo: Place the cookie top back on the filled side, pressing gently to secure the legs and filling.
  6. Add the Eyes: Use black icing to add two small dots for the spider’s eyes.
  7. Attach the Candy Eyes: Press a candy eyeball onto each dot of icing, holding them lightly until they set.
  8. Serve: Place the finished Oreo spiders on a serving tray and enjoy the spooky fun!

Notes

Spooky Decor: Use small candies or chocolate chips for the eyes if you don’t have candy eyeballs.

Legs with a Twist: Pretzel sticks or gummy worms can be used for a fun texture variation in the spider legs.

Colorful Eyes: Swap out candy eyes for different colors to match your Halloween theme.
