1 cup (226g) salted butter, melted and slightly cooled
2 large eggs
2 cups (440g) brown sugar, packed
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 cup (240g) creamy peanut butter (not natural)
2 1/2 cups (350g) all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/4 cups mini peanut butter M&M’s
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
1 tablespoon butter (for topping)
1/2 cup mini peanut butter M&M’s (for decoration)
If using unsalted butter, add 1/4 teaspoon salt to the flour mixture.
Do not overbake to keep the bars soft and chewy.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days or refrigerate for up to 1 week.
