A quick, festive brittle made with creamy white chocolate and crunchy peppermint candy canes—perfect for gifting, snacking, and holiday dessert trays.

Ingredients

2 pounds white chocolate

30 small peppermint candy canes, crushed

Instructions

  1. Line a large jellyroll pan with heavy-duty foil.
  2. Melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl on medium power, stirring every minute until smooth (about 5–6 minutes).
  3. Crush the candy canes into small, even pieces using a rolling pin or mallet.
  4. Stir the crushed peppermint into the melted chocolate.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly onto the prepared pan.
  6. Chill for 1 hour or until fully set.
  7. Break into pieces by tapping the pan firmly on the counter.

Notes

Swirl in dark or milk chocolate for a marbled look.

Add crushed cookies or pretzels for extra crunch.

Sprinkle extra peppermint on top before chilling for decoration.

Add a tiny drop of peppermint extract for stronger mint flavor.

Melt white chocolate slowly to avoid seizing.
