Crisp apple slices stuffed with a creamy salted caramel filling, coated in smooth white chocolate, and topped with crunchy, festive toppings. These Salted Caramel Stuffed Apple Sticks are a fun, healthier twist on classic caramel apples.

Ingredients

2 large apples, washed and sliced into ¼-inch thick pieces

2/3 cup Greek yogurt

4 scoops vanilla protein powder

1 pack Simply Dessert Salted Caramel Sugar-Free Pudding

2/3 cup crushed cinnamon cereal

1 cup melted sugar-free white chocolate

Optional toppings: sprinkles, crushed peanut butter chocolates, crushed walnuts, or sugar-free caramels

Instructions

  1. Slice apples into ¼-inch thick pieces and insert a popsicle stick into the bottom of each slice.
  2. In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, vanilla protein powder, salted caramel pudding, and crushed cinnamon cereal. Mix until a thick, creamy filling forms.
  3. Spread or press the filling evenly onto the apple slices.
  4. Melt the white chocolate in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each burst until smooth. Add a teaspoon of coconut oil if needed for smoother consistency.
  5. Dip each apple slice into the melted white chocolate, coating it completely. Place coated slices on a parchment-lined tray.
  6. While the chocolate is still soft, sprinkle on your chosen toppings such as crushed nuts, sprinkles, or sugar-free caramel bits.
  7. Refrigerate the coated apple sticks for about 10 minutes, or until the chocolate sets.
  8. Serve chilled and enjoy the sweet, salty, and crunchy goodness.

Notes

Use Honeycrisp, Fuji, or Granny Smith apples for the best flavor balance.

Dip apples in lemon juice before assembling to prevent browning.

Swap cinnamon cereal for granola or crushed graham crackers for extra crunch.

Use coconut yogurt and plant-based protein for a dairy-free version.

Drizzle with caramel syrup and a sprinkle of sea salt for an indulgent twist.
