Sheet Pan Steak and Fries is an easy, hearty meal that brings together juicy steak and crispy garlic Parmesan fries, all baked on one pan. This simple yet delicious dinner is perfect for busy weeknights or casual weekend meals.

Ingredients

4 1-inch-thick top sirloin steaks, patted dry

Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

2 russet potatoes, cut into 8 long wedges

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

½ cup freshly grated Parmesan

Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons chopped parsley leaves

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly oil a baking sheet or coat it with nonstick spray.
  2. Place the potato wedges in a single layer on one side of the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with garlic, Italian seasoning, Parmesan, salt, and pepper. Toss to combine, ensuring all potatoes are coated.
  3. Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, tossing occasionally for even cooking.
  4. Preheat the oven to broil. Season the steaks with salt and pepper. Place them on the opposite side of the baking sheet, in a single layer. Broil for 4–5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or to your desired doneness.
  5. Once the fries and steaks are done, remove from the oven. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley and a dollop of garlic butter, if desired.

Notes

For a different potato, use Yukon Gold or sweet potatoes.

Add additional cheese to the fries in the last 5 minutes of baking for an extra cheesy flavor.

To adjust the steak doneness, cook for 6-7 minutes per side for medium or 8 minutes for well-done.
