These Smoked Party Ribs featuring tender lamb ribs are slow-cooked to perfection with a deep smoky flavor and a sweet, sticky glaze. Perfect for BBQs, family gatherings, or festive parties, this easy smoker recipe guarantees fall-off-the-bone deliciousness with every bite!

Ingredients

3 lbs lamb ribs

1/4 cup yellow mustard

1/2 cup BBQ dry rub

1 cup apple juice

1/2 cup BBQ sauce

2 tablespoons brown sugar

2 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon butter, melted

Instructions

  • Preheat smoker to 225°F (107°C).

  • Remove the membrane from the ribs and pat dry with paper towels.

  • Rub ribs with yellow mustard, then generously coat with BBQ dry rub.

  • Place ribs in the smoker and cook for 2 hours, spritzing with apple juice every 30 minutes.

  • After 2 hours, wrap ribs tightly in foil along with brown sugar, honey, and melted butter. Cook for an additional 2 hours.

  • Carefully unwrap the ribs, brush them with BBQ sauce, and return to the smoker for 30 minutes to set the glaze.

  • Remove from the smoker, rest for 10 minutes, then slice and serve.

Notes

Spice it up with extra cayenne pepper in the dry rub.

Maple syrup can replace honey for deeper sweetness.

Experiment with applewood, cherry, or hickory for different smoke flavors.

Add pomegranate molasses to the glaze for a Middle Eastern flair.
