S’mores Campfire Cones are a fun, mess-free twist on the classic s’more, with marshmallows, chocolate, and graham crackers layered inside a waffle cone, then melted to gooey perfection over a campfire, grill, or in the oven.

Ingredients

4 waffle cones

2 cups mini marshmallows

1 cup chocolate chips (milk, semi-sweet, or dark)

4 graham crackers, broken into small pieces

Instructions

  1. Fill the bottom of each waffle cone 1/4 to 1/3 full with mini marshmallows.
  2. Layer in chocolate chips, graham cracker pieces, and more mini marshmallows until full, gently packing down.
  3. Wrap each cone individually in aluminum foil, sealing tightly—cover the top first, then fold the bottom and sides.
  4. Oven method: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Place wrapped cones on a baking sheet and bake for 10–15 minutes until melted and gooey.
  5. Campfire or grill method: Place wrapped cones over hot coals or grill grates for 5–7 minutes, turning occasionally, until melted and slightly toasted.
  6. Remove from heat, cool for 1–2 minutes, unwrap, and serve warm.

Notes

Best eaten fresh to keep cones crisp.

Use peanut butter chips, caramel bits, or white chocolate for variety.

Add fruit, cookies, or pretzels for texture and flavor.

Avoid placing cones directly in flames to prevent burning.
