Spicy Cream Dream Chori Pollo Skillet is a vibrant one-pan Mexican-inspired dish with juicy chicken cutlets, savory spiced sausage, sautéed bell peppers and onions, topped with melted Monterey Jack cheese for a comforting, flavorful meal.

Ingredients

7 ounces savory spiced sausage

2 bell peppers (any color), thinly sliced

1 sweet onion, thinly sliced

2 pounds chicken cutlets

2 teaspoons adobo seasoning

8 ounces shredded Monterey Jack cheese or hot queso dip

½ cup chopped green onions

½ cup chopped cilantro

Instructions

  1. Cook spiced sausage in a large skillet over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, sauté bell peppers and onions until softened.
  3. Season chicken cutlets with adobo seasoning. In another pan, cook chicken until golden and cooked through.
  4. Combine cooked chicken, sausage, peppers, and onions in one skillet.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheese or dollops of queso dip over top; cover until cheese melts.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions and cilantro before serving.

Notes

Use queso dip for creamier texture or shredded cheese for gooier melt.

Swap chicken cutlets for thighs for juicier meat.

Add extra spices or hot sauce for more heat.

Serve over rice, in tortillas for tacos, or with crusty bread.

Add jalapeños or corn for extra flavor.

Store leftovers in airtight container up to 3 days; reheat gently.
