Refreshing Strawberry Citrus Iced Tea combining bold black tea with fresh strawberries and citrus for a naturally sweet, vibrant drink perfect for warm days or gatherings.

Ingredients

4 cups water

4 black tea bags

1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

1 orange, sliced into rounds

1 lemon, sliced into rounds

¼ cup honey or sugar (optional, or to taste)

Ice cubes (as needed, for serving)

Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil in a medium saucepan. Remove from heat and add tea bags. Let steep for 5–7 minutes depending on desired strength.
  2. Wash and slice the strawberries, orange, and lemon while the tea steeps.
  3. Remove tea bags and stir in honey or sugar while tea is still warm until dissolved. Let tea cool to room temperature.
  4. Mix cooled tea with sliced strawberries, orange, and lemon in a large pitcher.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to meld.
  6. Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour chilled tea over the top.
  7. Add fresh mint leaves for garnish if desired.

Notes

Use green or herbal tea for different flavor variations.

Add other fruits like raspberries or peaches for variety.

Substitute honey with agave or maple syrup as alternative sweeteners.

Add soda water before serving for a sparkling twist.

Do not steep tea longer than 7 minutes to avoid bitterness.
