A cozy, versatile beverage combining black tea, apple cider, orange juice, honey, and warm spices. Can be served hot or cold, perfect for fall gatherings, cozy nights, or festive occasions.

Ingredients

1 orange, thinly sliced

1 apple, thinly sliced

34 cinnamon sticks, food grade

¼ cup honey, or to taste

2 cups unsweetened black tea

1 cup orange juice

1 cup apple cider

Instructions

Serving Cold

  1. In a pitcher or large punch bowl, add the orange slices, apple slices, and cinnamon sticks.
  2. Pour in the honey, black tea, orange juice, and apple cider. Stir thoroughly until combined.
  3. Serve over ice in glasses.

Serving Hot

Slow Cooker Method:

  1. Place black tea, apple cider, orange juice, and honey in the slow cooker on high.
  2. Once heated, reduce to the keep-warm setting.

Stovetop Method:

  1. Place black tea, apple cider, orange juice, and honey in a large pot.
  2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low.
  3. Ladle into heat-safe glasses and garnish with fresh orange and apple slices and cinnamon sticks.

Notes

 

Include extra spices like cloves, nutmeg, or star anise for richer flavor.

Add fruits such as pears, cranberries, or pomegranate seeds for color and taste.

Adjust honey to taste for sweetness.
