Taco Ranch Bites are the perfect appetizer, featuring taco-seasoned beef, melted cheese, and creamy ranch dressing in crispy phyllo shells. Quick to prepare and ideal for parties, these bite-sized treats are guaranteed to be a crowd favorite and can be made ahead for convenience.

Ingredients

1 lb lean ground beef

1 packet taco seasoning

1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes and green chiles (drained)

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

½ cup ranch dressing

30 frozen phyllo tart shells

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven:
    Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • Cook the Beef:
    Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.

  • Season the Beef:
    Add taco seasoning, diced tomatoes, and chiles to the cooked beef. Stir and cook for 5 more minutes.

  • Prepare the Filling:
    In a bowl, combine the beef mixture with the shredded cheddar cheese and ranch dressing.

  • Fill the Shells:
    Spoon the beef and cheese mixture into the frozen phyllo tart shells.

  • Bake:
    Bake for 8-10 minutes (10-13 minutes if frozen), until golden and bubbly.
