Turkey Salisbury Steaks with Mushroom Gravy offer a healthier twist on the classic Salisbury steak, using lean turkey patties instead of beef. The turkey is perfectly seasoned, juicy, and topped with a rich, savory mushroom gravy. This comforting dish is perfect for weeknight dinners and pairs wonderfully with mashed potatoes or any side of your choice.

Ingredients

  • Ground turkey
  • Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • Ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and steak sauce
  • Spices: salt, pepper, garlic powder
  • Yellow onion, mushrooms, and garlic for the gravy
  • Chicken broth and butter

Instructions

  • Form and Cook the Turkey Patties:

    • Combine ground turkey, panko breadcrumbs, egg, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, steak sauce, salt, pepper, and garlic. Form the mixture into patties.
    • Cook the patties in a skillet over medium heat until browned on both sides.
  • Prepare the Mushroom Gravy:

    • Pour in chicken broth and simmer to combine the flavors.
  • Simmer the Patties:

    • Return the patties to the skillet with the gravy. Let them simmer for 10-15 minutes, until fully cooked and tender.

    • Reheat in a skillet or microwave when ready to serve.
