These Ultimate Salted Caramel Brownie Bites are fudgy, rich chocolate brownies topped with indulgent salted caramel and a sprinkle of flaky sea salt. Perfect for parties or satisfying your sweet cravings!

Ingredients

1/2 cup unsalted butter

4 ounces dark chocolate (70% cocoa)

1 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs (room temperature)

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

Pinch of salt

1/2 cup salted caramel sauce

Flaky sea salt (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously grease a mini muffin pan.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and dark chocolate together. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until the mixture is smooth and fully melted.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until pale and slightly frothy.
  4. Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture and stir until fully combined. Then, gently fold in the flour and a pinch of salt using a spatula until just combined. Avoid overmixing to keep the texture fudgy.
  5. Use a small cookie scoop to portion the batter into the mini muffin pan, filling each cup about 3/4 full. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the tops are set and a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs. Be careful not to overbake, as you want these to remain fudgy.
  6. Once the brownie bites are slightly cooled, spoon a dollop of salted caramel sauce onto each one. The warm brownies will absorb some of the sauce, making them even more indulgent.
  7. Sprinkle a pinch of flaky sea salt on top of each brownie bite. The sea salt enhances the sweetness of the caramel and balances the richness of the chocolate.
  8. Allow the brownie bites to cool completely before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

For extra texture, fold in mini chocolate chips or chopped nuts like pecans or walnuts into the brownie batter.

If using a regular muffin pan, increase the baking time to 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.

For a gluten-free version, use a 1:1 gluten-free flour blend.

If you prefer a different sauce, you can use regular caramel or fudge sauce, but make sure to add a pinch of sea salt for the salty-sweet balance!
