A refreshing iced latte layered with raspberry puree, vanilla sweetness, creamy milk, and bold espresso. This café-style drink balances fruity brightness with smooth coffee for a beautiful and flavorful treat.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup milk of choice (dairy, almond, oat, etc.)
  • 2 shots espresso or 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
  • 2 tablespoons raspberry puree
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla syrup or 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract plus sweetener to taste
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional: whipped cream
  • Optional: fresh raspberries
  • Optional: crushed freeze-dried raspberries

Instructions

  1. Prepare raspberry puree if making from scratch and chill it before assembling the drink.
  2. Brew the espresso or strong coffee and allow it to cool completely.
  3. Add the raspberry puree and vanilla syrup to a tall glass.
  4. Fill the glass with ice cubes.
  5. Pour the milk into the glass and gently stir so the raspberry and vanilla blend slightly.
  6. Slowly pour the cooled espresso or coffee over the milk and ice to create layered separation.
  7. Add optional toppings such as whipped cream, fresh raspberries, or crushed freeze-dried raspberries if desired.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes

  • Oat milk creates a creamier latte, while almond milk adds a light nutty flavor.
  • Honey or maple syrup can replace vanilla syrup for natural sweetness.
  • Add a pinch of cinnamon or cardamom to the milk for a warm aromatic flavor.
  • The raspberry puree can be prepared up to 3 days in advance and stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
  • For a frozen version, blend the ingredients with ice to create a smoothie-style coffee drink.
