Bear Paw Peanut Butter Blossom Cookies are a creative and fun twist on the classic peanut butter blossoms. These soft, chewy cookies are topped with a chocolate paw print design, making them perfect for holidays, themed parties, or any fun occasion.

Ingredients

For the Cookies:

1 cup peanut butter

1 cup sugar (plus extra for rolling)

1 egg

1 tsp baking soda

For the Chocolate Paw Print:

1/4 cup Ghirardelli milk chocolate melting disks (or chocolate chips)

3 milk chocolate chips (for the paw pads)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough:

    • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    • In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, sugar, egg, and baking soda. Stir until the dough is smooth and thick.

    • Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and coat them lightly in sugar. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.

  2. Bake the Cookies:

    • Bake for 10-12 minutes until the cookies are slightly puffy but not overly browned.

    • Remove from the oven and let them cool for 2 minutes.

  3. Add the Paw Print:

    • As soon as the cookies come out of the oven, press the chocolate melting disks into the center of each cookie.

    • Press three milk chocolate chips into the center of the melted chocolate to form the paw pads.

    • Allow the cookies to cool completely and let the chocolate set.

  4. Serve:

    • Once cooled, store the cookies in an airtight container and enjoy!

Notes

Variations:

Different Chocolate: Swap the milk chocolate for dark chocolate or white chocolate if preferred.

Peanut Butter Variations: Use crunchy peanut butter for extra texture.
