Ingredients

Fresh ravioli (preferably asparagus-stuffed)

Italian sausage (mild or spicy)

Frozen sweet peas

Heavy cream

Parmesan cheese

Garlic

Olive oil

Butter

Instructions

  • Cook ravioli according to package instructions. Reserve some pasta water and set ravioli aside.

  • In a skillet, heat olive oil and cook sausage, breaking it apart, until browned and cooked through. Remove sausage and set aside.

  • In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.

  • Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer until it thickens slightly.

  • Stir in Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes (if using). Season with salt and pepper.

  • Return sausage and peas to the skillet. Mix well.

  • Add cooked ravioli to the sauce, tossing gently. Adjust sauce consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.
