Deviled strawberries are a fun and unique party treat that combines the flavors of strawberry cheesecake in one bite-sized snack. Fresh strawberries are filled with a creamy, sweet filling and topped with graham cracker crumbs, making these a hit at any gathering. Quick to prepare, these delicious treats are perfect for any occasion!
18–24 large strawberries
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup sour cream
2/3 cup white granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice (optional)
1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
Cut off the stems of the strawberries and slice them in half. Cut a small sliver off the back of each half to make them sit upright.
Using a small melon baller, carefully hollow out the center of each strawberry half, leaving enough space for the cream cheese filling.
In a mixing bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form (about 5 minutes).
In another bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon juice. Beat until smooth.
Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
Fill a piping bag with the cream cheese filling and pipe it into each hollowed-out strawberry.
Sprinkle the tops with graham cracker crumbs and serve immediately.
You can substitute the graham cracker crumbs with crushed cookies, crushed nuts, or chocolate shavings for a different topping.
If you prefer a sugar-free version, use a low-carb sweetener instead of granulated sugar.
For a low-carb option, swap the graham cracker crumbs for a low-carb topping or omit them entirely.
